Communities is a platform designed to help you find and maintain communities in your area. We want to support and inspire people to create a network around them with which they can engage in meaningful activities, develop themselves, and contribute to building a place that gives them purpose.
We believe that in a world where everything is getting more digital, it is also increasingly important to be reminded that there is a beautiful world out there waiting for us, right outside our doors. A world where we can get together with people who have similar interests to ours, build meaningful relationships, collaborate on our common goals, and have fun along the way!
By building the Communitites platform we aim to provide a nessesary space so that people can find, create, and grow local communities that align with their interests and values.
We want to provide two functions. One, as a web platform offering the tools nessesary for our vision. Second, as cultural movement that fosters and encourages individuals to interact with and enhance their locality.
The goal of the web platform is to enable people to find, participate in and manage communities. We will be actively listening to feedback in order to continue improving and growing the platform with the features you'll need.
The movement is simply a mindset and way of live. If you believe that it's imporant to build personal relationships with the people around you and nurish the region you live in, you are already part of the movement.
One of our main challenges we will be helping users with interest in building a new community get off the ground while we have a very limited userbase. For this purpose we will be offering promotional features so users will be able to use in order to grow their community and attract new members. However even with that we expect growing new communities to be a long and difficult process. Passion and patience are key.
We are still at a prototype stage. Our main focus is on building the platform. However we are also always looking for passionate people who would like to join us in creating and growing communities, if that's you connect with us using the contact form.
